TOBIO iLabs are incubators for kids’ ideas. Most importantly, ideas for “doing good” to help people, animals, and the environment. “What a Great Idea!” Our labs are part laboratory, part workshop, and all-around playgrounds for discovery. When kids play and create together, their imaginations come together, and new ideas happen!
We link every TOBIO Labs in the U.S. with an international iLabs to promote empathy and a global perspective for our kids. The environment is no obstacle for us — we can build TOBIO Labs at a school, on a bus or in a tree. At the heart of Tobio Labs is our Continuous Learning Model: 1. Explore your community2. Research has shown that innovation and discovery happen at the intersection of multiple disciplines. We call it eSTEAM.Entrepreneurship + Science + Technology + Engineering + Arts + Mathematics = A Life Skill of Creative Problem Solving
As our kids learn more about imagining and creating community solutions, they will discover how science and the arts can help them identify and help challenges. Throughout this playbook, the Kids will:
Practice Mindfulness techniques
Learn about your Brain/Body dominances
Pitch an idea with drawings and prototypes
Choreograph a song and produce a music video
Illustrate a storyboard
The TOBIO Kids will use the IDEAS Cycle to generate their big ideas. Empathy and doing good are at the heart of everything they will be doing.
With our Kidpreneur PlayBook and interactive resources, we empower students by sparking their Curiosity, Compassion, and Courage. The kids identify community challenges, brainstorm ideas, and pitch solutions to improve the world one idea at a time.
